No News is Good News?

So...it is true, I have not blogged since returning from Hawaii....well, the tan has faded, the snow is still here and what do I have to offer you?

Sweet bugger all.

That's right, I have nothing going on.

I could bore you with details about how my 4 year old daughter is independantly READING...yes, that's right, she's reading at a grade one level....but I'm sure no one really cares. Oh, and she's also writing...cards, songs, whatever...but she's doing it all by herself!

I could tell you that my new diet plan consists of me piling whatever I want on to a plate and then scraping half off to control my portions (which btw REALLY sucks....)

I might mention that my oldest daughter told me she 'felt like a failure' when she lost her tap show...only to clarify later on (after I felt like I must have created this feeling of her needing to be perfect) that she didn't actually know what a 'failure' was but it sounded like how she felt.

I may mention how I just turned 32 and that it was rather unexciting...oh except for the fact that my sweet middle child asked me if I was turning 40. FORTY. YEARS. OLD. (Is 'bite me' an appropriate response to a 7 year old?)

I could explain to you how my mother in law probably made the most innapropriate comment to my husband about how fat he looked in our vacation pictures (I sent her some to show how nice we looked), and she may have even said that his man breasts looked bigger than mine. WOW. Insults to both of us at once. Someone remind me why I'm glad Newfoundland is so far away?

I mean, I could tell you all those things but it would bore you....or me...

I think I need another vacation....

Ha ha ha ha ha... I'll never forget the 'visit of the newfies.'

And yes, we care about the boring details. I'm a freak, I'm actually disappointed when no one writes something new... no matter how dull.

Maybe I have too much time on my hands!
